Independence Day
Independence Day is a Day Celebrating The Anniversary of our National Independence.
There is another Independence Day we have to look forward to. That is the day our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ will return.
We will rejoice because there will be no more sorrow or pain.
Galatians 5:13 says: For you were called to freedom, brothers. Only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.

Remembering our love ones who spent Christmas in Heaven
======================================
January 5th 2013
Good Bye 2012 - Hello 2013
I took time off for some well needed rest and to celebrate Christmas and New Years with my family.
What an incredible year this has been for me.
I am so thankful that Our Heavenly Father has provided me with the strength, guidance and wisdom to start this online ministry.
I also want to thank each and every one of you who chose to follow me.
Now that 2013 is upon us, it is my prayer that we eliminate the divisiveness, anger and hate.
We need to remember that there is only one race and that is the human race.
We can disagree with each other but I feel we can do it in a more respectful way.
We need to thank "God" each and every day and tell Jesus thanks for the place he is preparing for us in heaven.
In conclusion, I want to let you know that is has been a privilege to serve you and I look forward to providing you with more information in 2013.

Hebrews 11:6
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Don't Let Satan Steal Your Joy
Satan is trying to steal your Joy and make you feel that he and not "God" is in your corner. He knows that if he can get you to lose your Joy, you will not have the strength and courage to continue the good fight and do "God's" will.
Begin your day by thanking "God" for waking you up again to see another day. Thank him for your family, your job and let him know that whatever happens today, you will do everything in your power, not to let Satan steal your Joy and cause you to lose faith so we will be his and not "God's" property.
Please "God" and not man.

Hearing From "God" - Samuel 3:10
And the LORD came and called as before, "Samuel! Samuel!" And Samuel replied, "Speak, your servant is listening."
Did you notice from the scripture that "God" had to call Samuel several times before he heard or recognized his voice? You probably hear other people say "God" spoke to me today and wonder how come you never hear from "God". Maybe it is because you are so busy that you do not recognize his voice. Do you spend as much time with "God" as you do watching TV? What other distractions are preventing you from hearing his voice? How much quiet time do you spend with him? If you take the time to put "God" First, he will tell you everything you need to know. If you are in a relationship with someone you really love, you usually speak with them throughout the day. Why don't we take the time to bond with Our Father and develop our relationship with him? Sit back, relax and bask in the present of The Lord.

Matthew 26:41 Flesh and Spirit
"Keep watching and praying that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak."
As long as we are here on this earth, we are always going to be struggling with Flesh and Spirit. The Flesh is selfish and we have to try not to give into the Flesh. It is difficult at times because if you look all around you, Satan the chief deceiver makes you think so many things are acceptable because everyone is doing it. Don't cater to your fleshly appetite. Say No to self and Yes to "God". Tell the Flesh you don't own or control me. I am a child of "God" and am in control of my Flesh.
Remember in the Old Testament, the Tabernacle had 3 compartments (1) The outer court (2) The Holy Place (3) The Holy of Hollies which contained the Presence of "God".
As humans we also have 3 parts, (1) The Body - Flesh (2) The Soul (3) The Spirit. Don't grieve The Spirit by giving into your desires of the Flesh.

Luke 10:41-42
“Martha, Martha,” the Lord answered, “you are worried and upset about many things, but few things are needed—or indeed only one.
Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her.”
You know the story of Martha and Mary. They were sisters whom Jesus came to visit. Martha was busy cleaning house and cooking trying to make an impression. She reminds me of us today. You are having friends or relatives come over to your house and you want to impress them by spending money on new things that you cannot afford or cleaning, cooking and running around so much that you do not have time to even enjoy them when they come.
Mary took the opposite roll which is to fellowship with Jesus. Martha was too busy for relationships. Mary did the right thing and chose to fellowship with Jesus. She received a blessing from it. I can imagine all Martha did was cause herself to be upset, have ulcers or a headache.
Life is too short and true family members and friends are coming to see you and not a pretty house or your beautiful possessions that you cannot take with you.
There is always going to be busy work but relaxing, sharing and fellowshipping with Our Heavenly Father and your friends and families is priceless. Once they are gone, you can't get them back but you will still have your house to clean.
