Why Can't We All Get Along

Mark 13:12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents and shall cause them to be put to death.

I first want to start off by saying that my heart goes out to the family and friends of the 20 precious children and 6 adults that lost their live in the shooting in Newton, Connecticut. You may or may not agree with me but in my opinion there is simply too much violence on television, the movies and the internet. We glorify killing so much as it is put to music. They have individuals with multiple guns shooting and doing all kinds of flips and stunts. Some people are not able to separate the Hollywood Glamour from reality. I know the Leave it to Beaver days are gone but we do need to have more balance with more family orientated films.

We also need to learn how to get along with each other. We should be able to agree to disagree without the violence. How are we ever going to develop as people of "God" unless we meet and share with each other? We are never going to come together unless we delete the old stuff that is holding us down.

I pray that "God" will provide strength to the survivors who had to watch the lives of their love ones cut down short. If you believe the Word of "God" then you must believe what the writer says in Romans 12:18 if it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
